Meet Laura Rees, obsessed plant parent and owner/operator of Taproot Nurseries. Self-taught through years of research coupled with trial and error, she currently maintains a personal collection of over 200 houseplants. Favorite genus: Hoya. Laura formed Taproot Nurseries upon the realization that it wasn't all-consuming enough for houseplants to be her hobby—they needed to be her career. (And why couldn't she find a knowledgable sitter to water her plants while she was away?!)

Our goal here at Taproot Nurseries is to do so much more than simply care for your houseplants while you travel.
